Writing a blog!!! and for the first time.... this is an awesome feeling. It has always been my wish to be a writer. i am putting myself to test here. I just want to see if i can write something which people like.
Being a human, I think about many things and there are a number of things that attract my attention and invite me to ponder over them. i would like to share with you my thoughts, my feelings and, to be precise, a piece of myself.
Today i would like to share with you my way to see religion.
Even in present modern era, religion is an important part of a person's life. But the question is- What is religion actually?
Is it what our elders have taught us about? Is it what we find in our scriptures?
Before you continue reading, let me make clear I am not criticizing any religion here. I am just sharing my views over religion which are my personal views and are not intended to hurt anyone.
Religion, basically, is an ideal way to lead this mortal life on the earth. The idea at the core of all the religions is same and it is to lead a life that nears us to the Almighty and enables us to be in communion with him. Religion shows us the path to the Almighty's place. The paths may be different as stated in different religions but the destination is same in all the religions.
To be religious doesnt mean to visit holy places or to read scriptures. religious is the person who fulfills his role that the Almighty has assigned to him. The Almighty cannot be found in the so called holy places which humans have made. The Almighty can only be found at a place which He Himself has created. And, that place is your own heart, your soul.
To be religious you have to be true to yourself. Before doing anything, ask yourself if your creator would like your action. And, if your answer is yes, whatever you do will be religious. If you want to be truly religious, dont harm anything that is created by the Almighty. Love and respect everything created by Him whether it is a human,an animal, a bird or any other non-living thing.
